Not at all. The great thing is that our courses are suitable for all levels - from beginners to those dreaming of a career in interior design. BDA's Taster classes and Certificate courses have been created for beginners who would like an basic understanding of the principles of design so as to make confident, creative decisions. Our Masterclasses and BDA's Diploma courses lead nicely on from the introductory courses, and for those who have had some experience of design in practice.
Lots of inspiration! :) Plus, you're welcome to take home your mood boards, drawings, models, etc that you have created during the class(es).
For the 1-day courses and Masterclasses, all materials are provided. For the BDA Certificate and BDA Diploma courses, any specialist materials and equipment (ie drawing boards, portfolios, scale rulers, technical pens, etc) will be required; you will be sent a 'Materials and Equipment' list prior to commencement of the course.
For some of the sessions, we may ask you to prepare a small piece of homework. When we do, this will only take you between 15-30 min to prepare. Details will be emailed to you ahead of the session. Where the course has multiple sessions, we will share the information in the preceding class.
